Ashleyanne McKinley

High School/College Level Mathematics/Statistics

Mrs. McKinley has over ten years of teaching experience in higher education and possesses a proficiency in creating curriculums for all levels of mathematics, including Geometry, Pre-AP Algebra II, and AP Statistics. She has taught hundreds of students, grades 6-12, and seen over a 95% passing rate on AP exams. She has also served as a Collegeboard AP reader for the AP Statistics exam the last three years.

Malloy Phillips

8th-12th English, AP Lang/AP Lit, Essay Writing, SAT/ACT Prep

Mrs. Phillips received both a Bachelor of Science in English Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor University. She then went on to teach English at Coppell High School. She spent her time there teaching AP, honors, on level, and remedial English courses as well targeted tutorials for the corresponding standardized exams (AP/STAAR). She tailors each tutorial session to meet the needs of the student and hopes to sharpen their skills as a critical thinker, reader, and writer. The time during each session is usually spent completing homework, revising and editing essays, or preparing for an upcoming assessment.

Sarah Beth Uhles

Mrs. Uhles taught various grades of middle school math in Highland Park ISD for 8 years, and taught gifted and talented courses. She has developed curriculum for math in grades K-8th. Mrs. Uhles greatly enjoys working with students to help them master the content and learn to enjoy math as well.

Alexa Shapiro

Middle and High School Mathematics

Mrs. Shapiro is an experienced mathematics educator with a solid foundation in teaching and tutoring. After earning a degree from Texas A&M University, Mrs. Shapiro began her teaching career in San Antonio, before relocating to Dallas to continue her work in the Lake Highlands area. With over 6 years of experience teaching secondary mathematics, Mrs. Shapiro has also accumulated an additional 4+ years of expertise in private tutoring. She has successfully hosted one-on-one, partner, and group sessions in a variety of subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, and College Algebra. Mrs. Shapiro’s diverse teaching and tutoring experience underscores her commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
